A Better Workflow for Tyre Shops and General Workshops

How tyre shops can connect bookings, vehicle details, fitment work, additional findings and invoices in one repeatable workflow.

Tyre work can move quickly, which makes it easy for job information to become fragmented. A simple workflow keeps the booking, vehicle, tyre work, wheel-related recommendations and invoice connected.

Capture the vehicle accurately

Registration, make/model and any relevant fitment information should be confirmed before parts are ordered or fitted. Avoid relying only on a customer's description when the job depends on exact specification.

Separate booked work from extra findings

A tyre booking may reveal alignment, suspension, brake or wheel issues. Record the finding and obtain approval before turning the visit into a larger repair.

Track parts and tyres against the job

  • Item or tyre description.
  • Quantity.
  • Supplier or source where useful.
  • Cost and sale price as appropriate.
  • Fitting, balancing or alignment labour.
  • Disposal or other approved charges.

Use history for future visits

Keeping previous tyre work with the vehicle helps staff see what was fitted and when, which can make future recommendations more specific.

Finish with a clear invoice and next step

The customer should be able to see what was fitted, what other work was completed and whether any recommendation remains for a future visit.
