For many local workshop searches, the Google Business Profile is one of the first things a customer sees. Keeping it accurate helps customers decide whether your workshop is relevant before they visit the website or call.

Check the core business information

  • Workshop name exactly as customers know it.
  • Physical address or appropriate service-area setup.
  • Current phone number.
  • Accurate opening hours and holiday hours.
  • Correct website and booking links.

Describe the services you genuinely offer

List the main workshop services customers can actually book. Avoid adding services simply because they attract searches if the workshop does not provide them.

Add useful workshop photos

Real photos of the workshop, reception, team, signage and service environment can help customers recognise the business. Keep them current and avoid relying only on generic stock images.

Create a review routine

Use the review link available from your Business Profile and request feedback after completed jobs where appropriate. Google does not allow incentives in exchange for reviews.

Review the profile regularly

Hours, services, phone numbers and booking links change. Add a simple monthly check so the profile stays consistent with the website and real workshop operation.
